PIP -- Parent Involvement Program
St. Patrick's School relies heavily on volunteers to make special events and activities happen each year. These special activities not only enrich our children's educational experience, but foster a sense of connectedness among members of our school community. Parents and caregivers are the primary educators of their children, and children learn by example. When our kids see us giving our time to a good cause, they learn to do the same. We hope they carry these lessons of mutual responsibility and generosity with them beyond St. Patrick's School and into adulthood. Another unique benefit of Catholic education!
As you may know, the list of opportunities to volunteer and earn PIP (Parent Involvement Program) hours is long and varied. The list of activities vary greatly with regard to time of year, length of time commitment, level of involvement, and even location! If you would like to plan your volunteer contributions for the year, please indicate your interest in particular activities using the PIP Interest Form, and return it to the office in your weekly envelope. Filling out the PIP Interest Form is NOT a formal commitment. Instead, we will simply contact you a few weeks (in most cases) before the event to see if you are still able and/or interested in volunteering. This will help us plan the all the wonderful activities that are such an important part of the St. Patrick's School experience. Of course, we couldn't do it without your generosity.
